    Hi guys,

Can't really see from this image but my picture seems to be perfectly straight along the bottom but at the top starting at the left corner it appears to get further away from the ceiling which is perfectly straight. My projector is also mounted perfectly straight too. Any ideas guys. None of my friends or the missus have commented but I can definitely notice it. Have a look on the back of the Benq there is a small flap which has a 5% horizontal and vertical, small flat screwdriver that may work.

Hi mate I tried that all it did was shift the image up down left or right. Would a slight keystone correction affect my picture quality greatly?

I can't really make it out from the picture, but I'm wondering if the pj is slightly off center and pivoted a little to get the image on the screen. It's a common problem that will result in the image being a little larger on one side than the other (because the lens is close to one side of the screen than the other), and depending on whether the pj is nearer the top or bottom of the screen, depends if it's the top or bottom edge of the image which is effected.

If the left side is slightly larger than the right (so the image gets smaller as you go to the right), then the pj is a little off center to the right.

I had this myself many years ago and it's easy to create just by having the pj slightly off center. The only way to know for sure is to measure from the center of the lens to the top left and right corners to see if the distance is exactly the same (for safety use the lens rim, not the glass itself - you don't want to scratch it). You can use string rather than a measure if you like as it's just a comparison test.

Hi Gary don't have any strong or a tape measure. However I have noticed something really strange. The bluray player home screen which is full screen ImageUploadedByAVForums1391196587.902826.jpg

Is perfectly straight along all sides but when watching a film (in this example Welcome to the Jungle) it's lower at the top left getting narrower towards the right.

It is doing my head in.

It could be an illusion, but I still seem to see a slight kink in both pics at the top middle, that starts just left of the middle. Am I imagining it?

Could just be my phone. I'm sat here watching it now and the only issue is picture lower at one side than the other.

But only when a film is playing.

Good thinking. Will try it when I get home. Thanks.
