It'd be very interesting if they actually used 3 chips to make it RBE-free.

I'm amazed that Sony & Co can make 3 chip LCD projectors for under £2k but a 3 chip DLP costs £10k upwards. Surely, 3 lasers means no need for the part of the light path splitting white into RGB, so should be cheaper.

"A little news to confirm the release in 2016 of a laser light source DLP projector without phosphor wheel, it will be a FULL LASER RGB model."

Sounds good Gary. At some point the dream is to have a laser projector that will produce infinite contrast/true blacks, have accurate grey scale and colours and never need a new bulb ever.
    I hope this delivers.
