Anyone had any experience of this pro DAC? Looks very promising...

They appear to have very effective jitter elimination technology, detailed here: http://www.benchmarkmedia.com/appnotes-d/whyultralock.asp

    What do you think?

It's got a volume control built in, so I thought I could maybe flog my Meridian 507 & ATC preamp, buy one of these from the States ($850 in the US, so prolly ~£700 inc. tax & delivery?) and get a semi-decent transport cheap secondhand, with a few hundred quid in me pocket. Any ideas how it might compare, SQ-wise to my Meridian?

They've also got a money-back guarantee, so if you could bear to lose maybe £100-200 on shipping & tax, you should be able to just send it back for a refund if you don't like it...

Seems like a nice idea, but a bit risky. Any thoughts?
