I am trying to configure a Belkin ASDL Modem with built in 802.11g Wireless router. I have a Belkin Cardbus Network card attached to my Sony Vaio PCG-GR315MP Laptop and the connection between the card and the router is ok, it shows on the router as a light in LAN 1. The problem I have is that the system seems to be stuck "aquiring network address". In the Start guide for the modem, it states that you should go to "192.168.2.1/ but you need to be connected to the internet to do this. I have a talk talk broadband 1.1MBPS connection but cannot see how i can connect to the internet when the modem does not have my details. Can anyone help me please?
