    This one's for the Beekeeper.

I have read some of your (wonderfully) verbose long cable leads sticky and got the idea that Belden cables rock!

Anyway, I'm looking for a 5 core video cable for a one way scart connector of about 14m and have found something called Belden 1418b, which is reasonably priced. However, you make no mention of this cable so I think it may be :censored:

I need a quality cable and I'd like to use Belden but it needs to to be fairly flexible and not too thick i.e substantially less than 0.75 of an inch.

    Any advice, please?

I am just starting out on the Home Theatre thing...

I've just bought a Barco BD808 from E-Bay and I am looking at how to connect it with a HTPC.

A friend has given me some cable, which appears to be Belden 1418B (which was nice...).

What I need now is a supplier of BNC connectors for it, I don't have a crimping tool so would prefer solder type.

Can anyobe point me to a supplier and part number?

    TIA

    Nigel

:hiya: I have not tried the Belden you mention though I find the Van Damme minature coax bundles pretty good in this respect. I would start there, re Belden then 1522 might be a good place to look  .
