i think he was referring to the fact that you said any satellite receiver would do it, and he was pointing out that a normal sky one wouldn't, as quite a few sky users come to these forums and might've wrongly thought they could get it... (although they would have to move their dish obviously...)

Exactly.
Considering the number of times that I remind posters that this is not a Sky forum, I am fully aware of the fact.
On checking other posts made by the member who asked "can you do it with a normal HD box", it seems more than likely that Sky HD is what was meant

and i was presuming that as there is a prominent sticky saying no sky stuff etc in caps, that anyone would understand it is in fact a SATELLITE forum , distinct from sky threads which have there own child forum.
Possibly it was expecting to much in terms of intellect and comprehension

i came into this from the front page > latest forum posts, i didnt know it was an anti sky forum page.
