I was wondering if the Tannoy fusion series (3) are suitable for a denon 1905. The channel ratings are 80W.

What happens if I put a fusion rear "Power handling: 10-60w RMS/40w continuous" + if I used the extra 2 channels to put music upstairs into low budget ceiling speakers, do I run the risk of blowing them/damaging the amp or if I keep the volume low would under rated speakers do fine....

Amps (especially AV ones) very rarely put out there fully rated ampage especially when suing all speakers. The only way (IMHO) you will blow them is if your running at extreme volumes with only them being used. They would start to distort before blowing so you have a warning. You shouldnt damage the amp either way.
