    Hello -

Been hanging around reading this forum for a while - picked up some good advice - thanks!

I have pretty basic requirements - just wondered if anyone can tell me if I am on the right lines here.

I plan to connect my new LCD (LC265AGE) to my DVD-player/recorder (Panny DMR-E55) using component video + Stereo audio. I'll also just be passing normal UK terrestrial analogue signal though the DVD recorder to the LCD. Does that sound ok ? Or should I use SCART from my TV to DVD recorder.

I really am sorry for this basic question as I am sure it has been asked a thousand times already.

    Thanks in advance !
    :)

Component is generally regarded as being a better quality cable. On the other hand not knowing myself anything about dvd recorders,i dont know what signal is required to actually record picture+sound.Best consult your manual .
