I really don't know much about PDAs, but I have a pronto and have been thinking of replacing it with a PDA using the Pronto S/W I understand is available.

What is the minimum spec I should aim for for this purpose?

EMail/Web connectivity on my home network (currently cat5 wired) would be nice, this would give access to the Tivo (via TiVoWeb, the HTPC, and 3 other PCs around the house. But if this adds significantly to the price I'd do without.

As far as IR range goes... I have a pyramid extender already so it doesn't have to be too powerful.

What's the entry level price for a PDA for the above usage? ANy recommended makes/models? How safe is buying S/H?

    Cheers,

    Mark.
