Anyone experiencing problems on the "choose the video, choose the remix" portions of these discs? Works fine on my computer DVD player, but on my Arcam DV88 when you hit play having chosen the video and audio... nothing happens at all - just stays at the menu.. wierd!

Rob, have you tried it on your DVD player yet?

Just tried it on my DV88 with the latest firmware sent out by Arcam last week... still doesn't work.

Anyone else with a DV88 have this disc?

    Cheers, Clive

A bit off topic, sorry  but I was thinking of buying this DVD for the Sabotage video alone. Can anyone tell me what the 5.1 remixes are like and are many of the songs remixed.

    Cheers,

    RDB :)

    RDB,

Sabotage doesn't actually have any remixes - there are four video angles to chose from however!

In general, I think the 5.1 mixes are fine - i.e. not too over the top!

Of the 18 tracks, 11 have remixes and 8 have multiple video angles. Only 4 have neither.

If you're a BB fan, you'll love this DVD whatever!

RDB (or anyone else who has or is buying this title), if it works fine, could you let me know what DVD player you have - I'd like to know which machines have a "very sub standard navigation system" - see the e-mail from Arcam below!

    Cheers, Clive

    Dear Clive,

Unfortunately there are certain disc's that cause problems for the DV88 and
although the disc may play on other players that is irrelevant as they do
not use the same system as our DVD players, 99% of the time the problem is
the way the disc has been written and other DVD players use a very sub
    standard navigation system
where as the DV88 uses a navigator that follows
the DVD specification to the latter.
Please send me the disc and I will be able to look into the problem, I will
also be able to run the disc on our DVD tester which will allow me to view
all the files on the disc. I am not saying that it definatly the disc but
as long as you have software version 1.81 then you are up to date. Also I
will try the disc on the new DV88 Plus to see if it will play on the new
    Mech that we use.

Well, seems the legendary Arcam customer service isn't going to come to my rescue on this one - they recognise there is a problem, but us existing customers just aren't as important as new ones, obviously!
