Beach Boys: 1967 - Sunshine Tomorrow

An excellent 2CD (also on vinyl) release June 30th for Beach Boys fans.

Focusing on post 'Smile' activity in 1967, this collection sees the first ever stereo release of the 'Wild Honey' album as well as the first ever release of the shelved live album' Lei'd In Hawaii'.

In addition to these two albums there is a plethora of unreleased tracks and alternate takes from both the 'Wild Honey' 'Lei'd' In Hawaii', and 'Smiley Smile' sessions, including a previously unreleased 1967 studio recording of 'Surf's Up', the band's first attempt to rescue the track from the abandoned 'Smile' project. 67 tracks in total.

Best of all, for a change, this isn't some hugely expensive box set collection. Currently priced at £9.99 on Amazon UK. :)
