bd350 lip sync issues

recently bought a LG bd350 blu ray player and am experiancing lip sync issues. I am running the blu ray player to the Tv with HDMI v1.3 and then have an optical cable running from the TV to my home cinema system. I dont get these issues while using the home cinema to play upscaled DVDs and nor do i experiance it when i play the TV through the home cinema.

Is it possible that my blu ray player needs an update?

Blu rays im using are, pirates trillogy, band of brothers and casino royal, although casino royal doesnt seem as bad as the others.

Is there any settings on the blu ray player i should be looking at to help things?

Just so you get the full picture, i have a LG 47LH5000 TV and a HT321DH home cinema.

Any help on this is greatly accepted as its driving me a bit nuts.

I have the same issue with the same blue-ray player and a 42LH5000 TV. I'm pretty sure that I'm running the latest firmware for both the TV and the blu-ray player and 1.3 compliant cable.

I narrowed things down by playing a DVD via my xbox, which didn't have any sync issues.

After a bit of a fiddle with the settings, I found that setting in the Audio settings to "PCM Stereo" sorted the issue out for me.

I expect there's other settings on the TV that interact.

I have Auto volume off, Clear voice off, and set the sound mode to Standard.

I have actually totally sorted the problem now, i downloaded the update from LG for the player, soooo easy to install, i just put it on a normal CD and put it in the player and the rest literally takes care of itself. I'd recommend doing it if you havent already, i can use any sound modes and settings and its still bang on sync.

jdmjib, what was the firmware you used to fix the lip sync issue? I have this player and i still can´t find solution.
