    Hi all,

I was curious: I'm re watching the X Files through Amazon Prime Video. Is there likely to be any perceptible difference in picture quality between that and the Blu Ray version?

    With thanks,

    James

I would say in most cases streaming is adequate for short term viewing but its certainly not good enough to purchase.
If its free on Prime there doesn't seem much point in paying £80+ for the Bluray unless you know you'll want to watch them again. They won't be free on Prime forever.

My HD streaming experience has been very poor. As a result I would always go for the blu.

Yep. And then there's the extras of course. Not even a debate for me.

If I knew I was only going to watch something once I doubt I would shell out almost £100 if it was available free on Prime.
And The X Files Bluray has no new bonus features at all. Everything was on the dvd although I get your point
