BD-P1000 lipsync issues...

When playing SD DVD's through my Samsung BD-P1000 BluRay player the lipsync is very poor, often unwatchable. I am using a digital-coaxial cable to feed audio into my Pioneer VSX-C502 receiver. Picture is via HDMI into my Panny 37PV500.

Any thoughts or possible solutions? Anyone else suffering the same?

Have you got the latest firmware? I seem to recall having the odd lipsync issue on some SD discs before updating to 1.2.

Press "open" and hold the info button down for a few seconds.

You can get the latest firmware here http://org.downloadcenter.samsung.com/downloadfile/ContentsFile.aspx?CDSite=UK&CttFileID=1303616&CDCttType=FM&ModelType=N&ModelName=BD-P1000&VPath=FM/200707/20070718142340031_iso_bdp1000_xeu_070619_01_website.zip

You'll need to unzip it and burn the ISO to a CD/DVD. I've only managed to get it to work with Nero.

Once you've burnt it to disc, put the disc in the player and it'll tell you if it needs to update, if it does press "OK" and leave it to do it's stuff, it'll take 10-15 minutes. You will need to re-enter the SD multi-region hack once you've updated the firmware.
