This had to be the TV highlight of the week. Hosted by David Tennant and Catherine Tate from Stratford upon Avon it had something for everybody, drama, music and comedy. Practically every genre of music was included from opera, hip-hop, musical (West Side Story) and Jazz. A star line-up that you couldn't buy. Surprise features included Judi Dench paired up with Al Murray's Bottom, and a sketch from the 'Horrible Histories' crew. A whole succession of major actors trying to convince a young chap as to how to do the 'To be or not to be' speech was hilarious with some level of confusion over the Danish prince as from the Danish Girl. An unexpected addition to these 'advisors' was, well, I won't spoil that! A song from Rufus Wainwright and a comic appearance of John Lithgow made it a memorable show. Well worth a 'catch up' even if you are not a Shakespeare fan.
