Has anyone seen the BBC Weather Photo of the Week competition? People like us send the beeb photos of stunning (and sometimes not so stunning) weather. This month's winner is really stunning, see here for details:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/multimedia/gallery/

I am tempted to enter but haven't yet as I haven't seen anything interesting enough in the sky. What do you all think?

I've been trying to take a photo of a rainbow for the past week without success. The problem is I always get the best view of them while on the M4 and don't want to risk stopping in case I get nicked

I know what you mean - I saw a fantastic rainbow on the M18 also last week that would have made an excellent photo but similar to you couldn't stop..

I took this today in Keswick in the lake district, I took it on a canon g3 and a wide angled attachment, and using the cameras own ND filter and iso 50, the photo has had no alterations, but I intend to clone out the beer bottle on the wall,..it really was strange, because the rainbow actually ended in the field pictured.

Excellent shot. When you're cloning out the beer bottle, just rotate the image about 2 degrees left and you'll have a pretty well perfect shot. Pity about the muck spreader but that might be a bit more tricky to clone out
