    I read this news earlier today.

    I infer from the report that we'll be able to receive 'true' HD pictures through a standard Freeview. Am I correct? Would be very interesting...

    Actually, I don't apologise. I can't get Sky HD at the moment (flat rules won't allow a dish), and cable is not allowed either. So I got excited about HD for the masses and wanted to let everyone know. There maybe others in the same position at present that like me do not read the SKY HD section, or do not have the time to read all forums, but would find the thread interesting.

    Infact it says the opposite
    thats via freeview (DVB-T platform)

    after analogue switch off ther emay be enough bandwidth for HD (MPEG4 will be the norm by then) but a new STB will be required
