BBC One HD seems to have increased its bitrate, just for the royal wedding - as BBC HD Channel is displaying a static picture which obviously uses up far less bitrate when it was due to be showing the BBC HD preview. Can anyone get a bitrate measure for the morning/early afternoon of 29th July?
One estimate I have seen is its running at 11.5 MBit/s which is far more than before, and almost getting back to the good old days when we used to get decent HD from the BBC
It was running at over 10Mbit/s according to Linowsat at midday during the wedding - that is far more than recent times.
