    Dear Martin,

    Thanks for the e-mail.

I have already received mail from Alan Roser, and the relevant BBC manager will be corresponding with him.
The BBC is keeping the issue of screen-burn under review.

All the best with your campaign.

If the general reaction of viewers is as you suggest, I shall look forward to hearing from a lot more of them and registering their views.
You give the impression that there could potentially be many, many thousands of complaints rather than the few hundred already noted.

    Regards

    Dan Smith

Thanks for that email address. I've just written, and I think we should flood his inbox.

Has this person appears to be on our side, we should not flood his inbox with complaints, but we should all email him asking for his support.

Please don't be tempted to take your anger out on Dan, save your anger for sky, they are the ones to complain to and we should all flood sky's inbox with complaints not Dan's.

His in box is the reception in box, views get forwarded to those who count.

It is NOTHING to do with Sky, as I am trying to

    1) Loose logos on Choice & Knowlege

    2) Get the bit rate upped again, (dropped when Knowlege went to MUX 1)

Sky is a naff channel who P&S Widescreen, and I only watch Enterprize on it

The managers of the logoed channels appear to be not interested in programming but interested in branding.

We watch BBC more than any other broadcaster

    Most watch channels for us

    BBC1, 2, 7, ITV 1, BBC 11, C4, UK Horizons 43, Sky 26. Discovery 36, then others incl 42 (E4), ITV 2, BBC 13

Note only 3 regularly watched pay channels - if UK Horizons went FTA byebye CAM
