    According to this article on Digital Spy the BBC has rented a new transponder on the Astra 2 satellites for High Definition services :clap:

    Digital Spy has a very poor server so you might need to try the link 1000 times before it works...

    No actual confirmation from the BBC or SES that it will be for a HD service just conjecture and supposition by writer of the article.

    It'll be interesting to see if they shuffle their services around to free up some space on 2D for their FTA broadcasts leaving less footprint dependent content on the new transponder.
