Hello. Im hopging that someone will be able to help me here. There is a few games that I would like to know the names for.

The first... You are this little man who goes up pipes, kills snakes, and collects letters spelling out "Bonus" or something like that.

The second... I dont remember much about it but I think it was set in some sort of castle thing and you were this little man... and if the gaurds caught you they would carry you off as if on a stretcher and put you in this little prison thing.

Any help will be greatly appreciated :)

I remember having to stand on a chair in prison and throwing a torch on the bed to set it on fire. I also enjoyed the similar Citadel where you had to collect different coloured keys to get into different areas.

I think the first game - the one with the little cave man was called "frak" or "frek" or something like that?

    Anyone else remember that game?

Frak was by a company called Aardvark if I recall correctly. The programmer went by the handle "Orlando".

Their other famous title was "Zalaga", an excellent Galaxian style shoot 'em up.

The coolest thing about this was that if you tried to hack the loader so you could run it from disc (PAGE = &E00 anybody??), it would play the theme from Capt. Pugwash (eg Pirate! )

    Nah that's tame.

Remember the BBC could stop & start the external tape recorder??

Remember those wonderful * commands, well how about:

    Code:
    10 REPEAT
    20 *MOTOR 1
    30 *MOTOR 0
    40 UNTIL FALSE
Run this little gem and watch the tape motor LED flicker on and off until the relay finally gave up the ghost and went splat!

Never did it myself, but remember reading about it and thinking you'd need a pretty twisted mind to come up with something like that. :smashin:

I think this one was called Felix In The Factory or something, you had to run up pipes and along moving conveyor belts.

in Castle Quest does anyone remember what to do when you've killed the witch by throwing a bucket of water at her? i now have the magic wand.

Oooo I need more help on the same sorta thing.

I cant for the life of me think of the name of another game.

All I really remember about it was that you went into loads of different rooms and sometimes your little guy kept changing into a werewolf or something.

    Any ideas?

The remade (Nicer looking) pc version of this was posted in the "Classic spectrum remakes freeware downloads" if you fancy a bit of nostalgia.
