Hello All
I think i may have a stuck diverter valve can anyone confirm for me please
when baxi 105HE is on CH/DHW setting and i run the hot tap (roughly 10l/min) i get hot water
when the CH comes on the boiler fires up goes to 80 in less than a minute, locks out, cools for 3 mins then fires back up
there is roughly 12 degrees difference in flow and return (return being hotter)
parts changed
DHW diaphragm
CH diaphragm
CH temp sensor
Main PCB
any ideas peeps

Sorry, i have no idea, and can't help :(
But how can the return from the rad be hotter than the flow to the rad ?

Not sure that’s what’s confusing me, these temps have been measured at the boiler feed and return pipes

Maybe pump has gone. The return is probably getting hotter as the hot water is rising through the easiest route, the return.

I always thought the PCB had to be replaced by a gas safe fitter as it controls the flow of gas to the boiler ? The PCB whilst easy to replace is not the cheapest

It was replaced a few years ago by a GS engineer sorry I didn’t make that clear
