I know the question has most likely been asked in another BG thread, but i dont wander in those anymore, for fear of a spoiler. So for those of us anxiously waiting for a skyone showing, is there a firm air-date yet?.

Also wondering how long before its likely to be released on R1 DVD (obviuosly after the U.S tv version has finished), as i may just wait for that instead, if its not too far off.

And on a final question, is there a release date yet for the CGI captain Scarlett series on DVD?

    thanks

    joe.

    Hi joe.
Dont know about captain scarlet but lets see what we can do about BSG.

I have recently spoken to sky one.

They have no confimed air date for season 2 of BSG yet, but the generall feeling is that it will be Jan 2006. It will most likly fill the the gap left by the now defunct Star trek Enterprise.

The US is showing BSG in 2 parts. The first 10 eps are curently showing at the moment on fridays, with the first part of a midseason cliff hanger being the last one to be shown at the end of sept. It then comes back in jan 2006 to show the second part of the season and the last 10 eps. I think your looking at at least summer 2006 before you get a region 1 season 2 boxset.
When sky show season 2 however there will be no mid season break and we will get the full 20 ep run from jan to may

I am in contact with sky one about this, and rest asured as soon as I have some proper info and a solid airdate I will post on the forums in a seperate no spolier thread ;)

    All the best.
    David.

    HI,

The first 13 episodes of "new Captain Scarlet" will be out on UK DVD in about a month's time!

And, as others have already said, BSG Season 2 starts on Sky in the New Year!

First I heard about when BSG Season 2 would be airing in the UK was from one of the cast when I met him last month, he said January 2006 and I didnt believe him but looks like he knew what he was talking about.

It does seem very unbalanced, and not to mention gauling when you consider we had season one first. I could have access to the usual xvid download versions from the states, but the last time i tried one, it looked pretty crappy on my tv (was actually the 4400 at the time) - definetly not what i'd want to put up with, just so i could see it sooner.

The BSG rips are nothing like the HDTV sourced Enterprise and Smallville rips but they are still pretty good quality, about the same as watching it on standard TV but I think it all depends on your player, some can give a better Divx picture than others.

I'd read on a Sky One forum that SG-1 and Atlantis wouldn't be back until January either? Fingers crossed you're right Dave!

Pay no attention to that forum, the start dates for SG-1 and Atlantis are already confirmed as October 18th for SG-1 and October 19th for Atlantis.
