I was quite taken with the first 3 hours' worth shown on Sky; much better than I expected. The DVD is quite cheap on Amazon (£8.97) but the site gives no technical details at all. Does anyone have this? Any comments on picture quality and particularly on sound format (5.1 or stereo etc) would be appreciated. The PQ on Sky was OK but a decent DVD would be preferable. The series does seem to be expensively put together so hopefully the DVD is too.

I got the DVD a few months ago and its Anamorphic Widescreen and the picture is ok but has a kind of gritty feel to it but I think thats on purpose as its ment to be shooting like a documentary and the sound format is Dolby Digital 5.1

Its a bit soft and noisy but its ok. I also think its deliberate if a little heavy handed.
