    Hi all,

Was just reading about this at

    http://www.r2-dvd.org

Here is an excerpt of what they had to say:

"The R4 release is billed as exclusive to region 4 and a very limited edition. We contacted Universal Playback in the UK to ask about a possible U.K release. Universal where very frank and told us that a UK (and US edition) where being looked at for later in the year. However they also told us that the current master tapes where not suitable for DVD use and the entire series needs to be restored before it is released. We mentioned the Australian release, Playback where unaware of it and in fact believed that if it was to go ahead it must be using the old masters. Universal UK have been in touch with the States to get the remastering done.

While I don't want to put anyone off ordering the R4 disks, I would sound a note of caution, look for on-line reviews first and take note of the sound/picture quality. There may be a better, remastered version planned down the line."
