Battlefield 3 resale

I folks, I recently sold my used copy of battlefield 3 and now the buyer has stated he cannot install it as I have already used the serial code, any suggestions as to what's happened?

I recently wiped and reinstalled windows 7 on my computer, could it be because I didn't uninstall it correctly on my pc and ea still thinks its installed?

As far as i know it can't be sold on as the serial will be locked to your origin account.

If i'm wrong im sure someone will correct me.

So if I supply my or origin account and username it should work

Yup, it's no use to the buyer as you have used the serial number. Looks like you owe him a refund or give him your origin account.

Best thing to do would rename the account to whatever he wants then change the email address to his before handing it over.

Origin are same as steam with regards to sale of accounts.

Hopefully you don't have any other games on the account and have not used a credit debit card as it will show straight away if he goes to buy something and use his card.

I've given him the origin username and password and he says he still can't install the game.. I'm confused
