Cant you just sign up for a US silver account. In the same way that people sign up to get the Japan only content? If you sign up for US in this same way surely you can get any content which is US only.

Is there a US ridge racer demo?

EA were pretty quick with the Fight Night 3 demo, so I would give them the benefit. this game looks awesome. I have real problems with GRAW in the way that it is too laborous and tactical for my liking (although I would never diss it as I know it is an excellent game for those who are into this type). BF2 looks more like my cup of tea, and can;t wait to try out the demo. Hopefully LAG won't be a big issue but with this type of game it doesn't bode well

Why not just create your own - it's free? He's not going to give his setup out here is he?

It took me ages to make the other one, plus isnt there a limit to how many of your created profiles will have 1 month free Live? There are already 3 on my hardisk, and none of them are US.

He doesnt need to give out the setup as i remember, you only need the gamertag, the e-mail address and the password.

Well, when I said set-up I meant email and password. He'd be silly to give it out as if he was logged in and then you (or anyone else) tried to log in also, it would disconnect him. Just create your own silver account, you don't need to run the free month of Gold, you can access Marketplace with silver. And AFAIK there isn't a limit of how many profiles you can set up, and if there is, it's something like 32 on a hard drive.

When i tried to do it last night, it wouldnt even connect to Live for me. Thats why i asked for his password, i would only use it to download the demo into my hard drive and thats it. It wouldnt take more than 20minutes.

And i er...kinda have bad memories about account setup

So basically i only asked because it would be quicker that (so i wouldnt have to phone number, address, new US based e-mail address, password etc) way. I dont think he'd be using his US account that much.

if you set it up on your 360 it would disable his completely so he is not going to.

Quicker for you, hassle for him, as he'd have to recover his account again after you've had it. Seriously, if you can't be bothered going through the account setup, don't expect other people to do it for you.

If it was really a hassle to fill in 3 fields (which i would have preferred to do then make an entire account fro m scratch) i wouldnt have asked him.

Jeez, its as if its an outrageous thing for me to even ask!

Well asking for usernames and passwords on a public forum is a pretty outrageous thing to do, actually. OK, I see in this instance it's not going to contain any real info aside from his email address, but it sets a bad precedent.

I know that, but it does not alter the point of what I am trying to get across to you! Please try to understand! It is bad form to ask for usernames and passwords on a public forum, no matter how innocent your purposes are. End of story.

Starfleets stop being a knobber and accept the fact what you asked for was out of line and stop filling this thread with more of your pointless posts.

Lol you again. I've moved away from it as Munkey explained that it was wrong, yet you were so bored you had to jump in and try to rattle something.

Please just IGNORE ME. Go to my profile and click on IGNORE/BLOCK this person. Or if you're too lazy, as soon as you see a post of mine..quickly scroll down past it.

If people dont like my attitude or anyone else's attitude, would it not be simpler to just ignore them (literally) instead of making provocative comments? I personally think so. Clearly some dont agree.

So for those who dislike me, just ignore me so our paths wont cross. No shame in that.

I'll explain why I reacted the way I did. Cowden makes a provocative post rudely worded (reason unknown) in reference to something that was concluded between me and Munkey as if i was still "going on about it". I clearly wasn't, we all moved on. Yet he made the comment anyway, and with the way its presented, I dont think many would disagree that it is provocative.

I replied with a patronising comment, technically it was advice but i made it sound patronising to let him know I didn't like his reference towards me. End of. Like him and Kopite, i ignore people who i find personally testing and over the past few weeks its proved a success (this ignore tool).

If you have ignored their posts than how can you read them?

Or are you saying your making an effort not to respond to them?

Anyways, hopefully the demo will be out on the 24th so I can decide if this games for me or not...

I read Cowden's post then decided to ignore him. I know Kopite posted aswell because it says in small bold font, top left, that he posted, but it doesnt show the message. And yes, i choose not to respond directly to the messages of those who i ignored hence why when/if those two reply, i wont reply to them.

Hmm ... obviously this has got out of hand before I even had a chance to reply. It certainly wasn't my intention for this to become such an issue. An no Starfleets I will not share my account info with you and I find it pretty ridiculous of you to ask such a thing in the first place especially as I don't know you outside this forum. It's not exactly hard to make your own silver account if you actually bothered to find outt how like I did. If you can't be botthered to spend a little time in order to do that then too bad.

I haven't said anything before but I have to say Starfleets, some of your responses in various posts on these forums have been way out of line and you really need to think what you're about to say before you respond. At the rate you're going you're going to alienate everyone on these forums.
