Just watched the vintage 'making of' doc on the Battle of Britain dvd (superb release of a spectacular film BTW) and just sat there creasing up at the start of this doc (called 'Battle for the Battle of Britain). I mean, it's just hysterical.

Anyone who's seen it agree? :p He looks like a cross between Austin Powers and Harry Palmer from the Ipcress File. It's especially funny when it zooms in on his face at the start (he emerges from an aerodrome hut and inspects a 'scramble bell' :rotfl: )

Anyone seen this classic bit of stuff? It's like a cross between Partridge and Brent, ie its got lasting commedy value :smashin: Its a great doc too, especially all the behind the scenes aircraft footage. At the end credits there is a shot of a Heinkel about 10 feet off the ground with only 1 engine running.
