Does anybody have any recommended battery powered (and mains ideally) speaker that can connect to a regular headphone jack?

Ideally below £30.... Tall order but if anybody has had any good experiences or knows a good one that would be great.

    Thanks

Creative's Travelsound weren't too bad, very small. They sond tinny but what d'you expect from tiny little battery operated speakers. The one without an MP3 player attached is cheaper but I've no idea how much they cost these days.

I have two Sony sets, the SRS-T55, and SRS-T70.

The SRS-T70 have recently been phased out, and Amazon were selling them off for £20 per set (originally £60-£65).

I am still deciding which I prefer (the T55 is brighter and the T70 slightly more powerful sounding), but I haven't heard much better at this size/price.

These speakers are only good for travelling, for anything else, avoid.

What else would you use them for?

yeh they would be for travelling, just cheap speakers that can plug into an mp3 player. Dont mind too much about quality but would like them to be as loud as possible.... Thats why mains adapter is probably a good thing...

Thanks for the models suggested, unfortunately seem quite expensive still...
