Battery Pack for iPad

Hi there!

I have used a TechNet battery pack for my iPhone for a while now and find it really good. However it is no good for the iPad (iPad 1).

I could really do with a battery pack that I can plug a USB cable into to charge other items as well as the iPad.

I don't use this sort of thing that often so wanted something super cheap. My iPhone one was about £10, so looking to spend not much more than that if possible.

Any ideas? Recommendations?

I think you'll struggle to find anything that will give an Ipad a significant power boost for £10.
Have a look at Chinavasion.com - they have a useful 9000 mAh charger for £21, plus other options.

Edited to add;
They also have a 5000mAh charger for £11. Given that the ipad battery is 7000mAH the charger should give it a worthwhile boost. The bigger version should fully charge it.

I've just got the 9000mAh version for £21. Quality bit of kit, small but heavy! Claims to deliver 2 amps but I think thats a bit optimistic - but it charged my Ipad from 10% to 80% in 6 hours and was still charging it.
