is there any way of refresing my battery.
I have a MacBook Pro 2.33, 2GB.

Its not lasting long. an hour or so.

Firstly try running it properly empty, get it down to 0% and let it shutdown by itself...Then recharge fully....If that doesn't work I hope you have warranty and book and appointment with a genius at an apple store and they will exchange it...

How long is it lasting ?
I had a problem where my MBP's battery said it would only last about 2 hours on full charge even though Battery health is 97% with about 50 cycles.

I found this fix that worked for me

My Battery went back to giving me over 3.45 hours

There are many places you should be able to pick up a replacement battery.
A quick search on google shows them available for under £50. Be careful that you are buying new and not reconditioned batteries.
The new (not yet shipping) 17" macbook pro's battery is not user replaceable.
Once this baby ships, it will probably be minutes before someone has it apart and shows on youtube how easy (or hard) it will be for an end user to replace the battery themselves. I guess that then we will begin to see the batteries appear online. I, myself, am waiting to see how simple the new 17" battery replacement is before committing to buy. Good luck
