I am in the market for a new battery for my S45.

I was tempted by the Hama (which is around £18), but was advised that the Hahnel type (£20) might be better.

Looking at the spec, the original battery is 570mAh and the Hahnel is the same.

However, the Hama one is slightly better at 600mAh.. On face value, the Hama seems better value as its cheaper and has a slightly higher power output, but does anyone have any experiences on these 'clone' batteries on the real world?

Malaysian based but way cheaper than UK clone suppliers.
I recently ordered a high capacity battery for my Panasonic GS5B much cheaper than anywhere in the UK and it arrived in around 5-6 days.
Didnt have pay any duty either thanks to customs friendly invoice.

    Hello Jon,

The 7 Dayshop batteries are good, and the one you want is Lithium Ion 600mah.

    Mark.

    Hi Mark,

The 7DayShop battery was the one I was talking about, however, thats a Hama, but I have been told that the Hahnel ones are better.

However, the Hama's are 600mAh, as opposed to 540 and they are 2 quicd cheaper, so the 'must' be better value.

Harry, I looked at the Malaysian site, but their NB-2L battery is $27.75 (and sold out) and its only 540mAh. Even without shipping, thats only as cheap as the one from 7DayShop.
