I have just purchase a JVC GR-D33 which seems to be some sort of Victor/Japanese PAL version from my trip to the US. I am now thinking of getting another battery but I am not sure which one I can get or will any of the new JVC batteries work?

    Any help would be appreciated

No you cannot take just any JVC battery and bung it on your camcorder, it has to be the right voltage, right fitting and right type. There are dozens of sites around where you can get camcorder batteries, they do not have to be JVC there are quite a few alternatives around from reputable manufacturers - Hammel, - Hahnal etc.

go to www.google.co.uk enter "batteries for JVC DR33 camcorder" click the 'pages from the UK only' radio button and then 'Google search' then take your pick
