Does anyone know what the diff is between the cut and uncut version of this movie???
To cut a long story short, the 75 minute cut that normally airs, was reduced for violent content and adult themes. Essentially, Warner Bros wanted a nice, kiddie-friendly movie, but what they originally got, was a darker, more adult animation, in the style of Tim Burton's 1989 movie.
As such, it was heavily cut, by about 8 minutes, I think. The new release, will restore all the censorship material, and also include never-before-seen material, that was removed by the production team before they submitted it to the Warner Bros people!
I don't know all the cuts, but there was a lengthy discussion about this topic when it first came out. Try searching the DVD Talk thread, and use the keywords "Batman, Return, Joker", and see if that brings anything up for you.

Go to the review section. Look up the review for the original and then the uncut. Your questions will be answered!
