Bass Settings and Midnight Questions!?

Guys,

Do you play with bass settings on your amp or do you keep it straight out of the box??

I have never touched , bass/treble type settings but sometimes discs sound a little tinny. Would Adjusting the bass warm the sound slightly?

Do many of you use Midnight listening settings day to day?

I'm using a Pio 811 with M74i's.

I dont use bass or treble or any EQ, and it is available on my processor...

I use night mode sometimes, when the grandchildren are sleeping over...
