I am now TV-less, so need to make a decision ASAP. I think LCD is the way for me to go as I have little space in depth and 29-32" screen would be ideal. I have a Progressive scan DVD/VCR combi, sky and a xbox. Three scarts therefore would be ideal. A specific PC post is not necessary as my pc video card has SVHS out. DVI is a luxury i can live without, as is HDTV compliance.

I like to watch sports so ghosting or slow refresh is not acceptable, also this would apply to console gaming.

I have looked at the following models, please comment on which you think would be most suitable, Budget is about £1000.

Sony KLV30HR3 - 3 scarts but no future connectors
Philips 30PF9946 - Only 2 scarts but Picture in Picture looks nice
Panasonic TX26LXD50 - a bit small and very expensive

All help appreciated before I make an urgent purchase.

Don't even bother using S-Video output for a computer. The low resolution and interlaced nature means it just isn't suitable. For that reason you should look into DVI (or HDMI which is backwards compatible to DVI).

PC compatiability is not an issue, it is just a feature that if is there is a bonus.
