I have been looking at the Pioneer VSA-AX10Ai-S in particular. I was wondering if the signal routing still works when the unit is in standby. If I plug all my VCRs, DVDs, STBs, PCs and any other source I can find into it will I still be able to record Freeview or Sky to VCR if the AV amp is in standby mode? Or will I need the AV amp powered up permanently?

Also with all these input sources can I individually route to different output devices? I was thinking of a VCR that has only one S-Video in from the amp.

    Thanks.
