    Guys,

Do you reckon this is a mistake that they could pay for?

InternetCamerasDirect.co.uk are doing the 20D with the 18-55mm kit lens for £888!!!!

    Thoughts!!

sounds about right, i bought my 20D 5 months ago and it cost £999 and that was before the launch of the 350D/D50/D70s so that'll have brought the price down a touch as well

£625 with kit lens delivered :)

Ebuyer listed one as 'used' so I took a chance and bought it. I could find nothing 'used' about it - all software and accessories unopened and picture count at zero.

I tested everything and found one hot red pixel that I have never seen in anything other than test shots with the lens cap on. Its a fair bet that a lot of 20D's will have something similar from what I've read since.

I had been thinking about getting a 350D.... but wanting a 20D. When I saw the offer I bought it immediately. No regrets.

Sounds about right for the standard lens kit.

The kit price has been held higher recently by the introduction of the 17-85 IS lens as kit.

Far superior than the standard lens, perhaps better even to buy body only and add your own glass.

Perhaps 17-40L secondhand as a good starting point
