    Check out www.currys.co.uk

Select the EOS350D kit and add to basket. Use the code easter05 and you end up with the 350D kit, a Lexar 1GB cf card and a Lowepro camera bag all for £625 inc delivery :smashin:

Looks like an error as the case and CF card are meant to be additional cost - not free...?!?

The easter05 code should give 10% off total of all purchases this Easter Sunday only, with a minimum spend of £199. Camera kit only comes to £625.05 including free delivery. BUT, if you leave the CF and bag options ticked, it seems to give them free too! I tested both options and same total each time. great deal!

Well I got an e-mail saying it's being processed. However, it is Curry's so you never know :D I think it's the first thing that has been priced low enough for me to buy from them!

    Witters,

I would also like to thank you for posting the information on the Curry's offer. Too good to miss so I ordered one yesterday. Not sure the bag will be of any use, though.

Several months back I ordered a RP TV and Braun shaver on an amazing deal and got a confirmation email.

I then got a call after 3-4 days saying shaver not in stock and did I want to wait for it :thumbsdow

I just cancelled, but things turned out Ok as I'd spied an even better RP TV via ebay seller and even saved £50 too :smashin:

I now have a beard tho'

Received my DHL parcel from Currys at 11:30 this morning. All items present and correct, including the money off vouchers and the free CF card when you register online.

First impressions are good. Not as plasticy as I was expecting, but I can understand why the small size would not suit everyone. I have small hands and it is almost too small for me.

I am going on a trekking holiday in a few weeks time so the most important considerations are small size and light weight. I also have a couple of EF lenses from my Canon EOS 5 film camera that I can use.

All in all I am well pleased with the purchase and I would like to thank Witters for bringing it to my attention at precisely the right moment.

Glad it came through OK ... small size with a big zoom, and the resulting feel of it in hand, was the main reason I didn't fancy one in the end and so got a 300D and grip. My hands are about normal sized  but feel just right.

B****y typical. I spotted the ad and end up with one sat in a box at home because it's a bit small for my large hands.

What to do with it? :D

I could just return it for credit I guess, but then I miss out on a free 1GB card and bag.

Ebay it of course ... nothing wrong with making a small profit on your own initiative  and maybe offer the bag as a buy now bonus!

I took it in to curry's yeah. Manager ended up doing it as the girl on the checkout had no clue how to refund a credit card for something bought online. Must have just tiled in the the normal code and i got the 7%(think it was 7) discount added back to

Typical, I've spent the past 3 hrs browsing for the cheapest 350d when this forum came up on a search. I joined so that I could pass on my finding of £634 (cameras2u & cameradepot) only to find I'd missed out on the Currys offer with the 1GB/cf & bag. :( Perhaps they'll have another for Mayday bank holiday?! Did you decide to keep the camera?
    Anyway, hello everyone :hiya:
