My Data 600 is slowly getting up to perform.

I have now a problem with pincushion distortion that I do not know how to adjust. You can see it clearly on the picture.

The left vertical edge is really vertical and straight, the right is slightly sloping and the top and bottom are really curved.

How to adjust? The installation manual doesn't give much on this or I can't find it.

It is a 4:3 screen, 170 X 128 cm, throw distance 285 cm, floor mounted, slightly angled, both projector and screen to get the right 90 degree angle between them.

In fact, there are adjustment pots for horizontal straight line for each color but they are not sufficient. Even if I adjust the pots to their maximum the lines are not straight.

Can it be that I am using a large part of the disply area? Should I make the raster smaller and retract the projector a bit? Could that help?

    Help please :lease:

maybe if you can shift the image a bit in the other direction (shift/ H phase) you can get better results adjusting...

    regards

As you say there are pots to adjust the top bottom bow. there should easily be enough adjustment. time to check components / replace boards. I'm afraid.

Yes, I suspected that components have some years behind, will check it out. Guess I have to order a service manual now.

You are so welcome! The other drawings could be the same for our projectors despite they are for BD 400. I think the convergence for example board is exactly the same.

    Good luck!
