    Hi
i' ve a little problemq with my Barco Graphics 801s

    It doesn't start
    Spec:
    Rear led is RED
On control board stand by led is ON and Projector Cycle is flashing
if DIP SWITCH 4 is ON stand by led is ON, ERROR LED is on
on the right of the SMPS there is a yellow led on (under screen and focus control) , the yellow led is the (-17)

I've controlled the fuses of the SMPS but are ok
if i press some button of the remote control the led RCU and ERROR alternates on and off for some seconds

    some advice?
    thanks
    Luigi

    Hi Luigi,
can you tell us more about the scanleds that can be found on the right side of the barco (standing behind the unit, which is on table)?
The first board from the right has the scanleds on it (seven yellow and one red led).
The yellow leds should be on, the red led should be off.

    good luck

i' ve only the (-17) yellow led on all other all off even the red one , there is a stiker near

the projector is off in stand by there is no EHT and fans noise
it is not responding at start up even with dip switch 4 ., with it the Prj should start with only ac power but i' ve only an error led on control board

I think your power supply is dead.

    but try this

Try removing the EHT control card at the back of the projector. that's the black board (with white writing) held in with two silver slotted scews just next to the quadrupler in line with the fans.
(this will effectivly disable the EHT circuits)
Start the projector now see if all the lights come on.

You will either have to get your powersupply repaired or find a replacement.
