    Ouch!

But seriously, I have a Seleco SVP 350. When I enquired about upgrading to a component board, I was quoted $AUD1200. or about 509 British pounds on current exchange rates!

So I use RGB or S-Video until someone can come up with a cheaper board.

    :(

    cheers

    Bill

Curt on www.avsforum.com has loads of spares for the barco range of projectors.

I recently bought a used neck board and RGB amplifier for my Barcodata 808. They both looked as if they were new. Very reasonable price too for the pair of them.

I must add that he's in Canada so if you're in a hurry you could be waiting around 3 weeks for delivery.

But I saves loads in the end, only paid just over £100 for both boards including delivery. If I'd bought new it would have cost £360 including delivery!

Perhaps you should put a Wanted ad on the Classified's forum then.

There's always his reputation on AVS.They tend to get sensitive about that.
If you check Cousin.it has been around a while.
Did you check out Curt Palmer as he's very safe to deal with.

    Hi,

I have some Barco parts for a 600/650 lying around at home. I'll see if any are suitable.

The 650 was a rare projector I'm afraid. I've only had a couple come through.

Hi, I've got a dead BarcoData 650. It was working fine one night (about 18 months ago) and dead the next, there appears to be no EHT (no HT rustle or raster) and I didn't make much attempt to repair it without a service manual. The chassis is clean and the tubes are good. The picture was very good before its demise.

Anyway, if you want it and can arrange to collect it (I'm in Chorley in Lancashire), you're welcome to have it.

    Regards,
    Steve

You're very welcome. I'm glad the parts did the trick.

Of course, I'm now left with a Barcodata 650 chassis with three good tubes and not much else, anybody interested? It's free to anyone willing to take it away!

    Cheers,
    Steve
