Roads were clear at 6.30 this morning but I suspect that this evening will be dreadful. I expect to see MLOC out in force as well as my pet hate of the minute "Race Horsing" where you attempt to overtake a car which then precedes to match your speed with the driver never acknowledging what a berk they are.

Complete PITA and I get the blame as a caravanner, not the slug in front of me!

This pisses me off no end!

Funny to see a car & caravan overtake up hill pass a farty

I had a nice quiet journey in. Not so much traffic about and planning to spend the weekend close to home. Have colleagues here who are planning to travel for a weekend away, not my idea of fun with the amount of traffic predicted

Should only be allowed out during 12:00 midnight and 03:00! Otherwise you caravanners cause too much congestion!

(lights blue touch paper and retires....)

Feel sorry for me when they get here!

You get the doddering old fools, and middle aged fools going down the roads at 20mph in a 60mph zone, they won't go into passing places on the narrower roads, and every time they see an oncoming vehicle they stop!

    Bloody morons.

Needless to say, my horn gets a lot of use in the summer months. And the horn on my car. :D

My roads were clear this morning suspect everyone else has the day off!

Used to live in Devon wouldnt go out on the roads there this weekend if you paid me even the secret back roads get jammed by all the bloody locals!

You get these doddering old fools all year round they all live in Modbury I think. Anyway apparently they wait outside your house in either direction and when you leave to go to work or to the beach they pull out in front and drive at 20 mph  :D

Ironically, Monster trucks run on ethyl alcohol which is untaxed so you could make a saving as well.

Why anyone (especially women) would spend 49 weeks a year cleaning, washing, cooking, washing-up, dusting, sweeping, etc, only to hitch up a miniature version of a house behind the car to do exactly the same again for 3 weeks "holiday" is totally beyond me :suicide:

Cleaning - while on holiday - nope - doesn't need it.

We have breakfast when we all get up.

    Lovely and quiet
