Currently using this sub and have been for about 2 years with a Yamaha 430 Amp. However, after disconnecting the sub for a few days, and now, reconnecting, everytime I switch input, I get a loud thud from the Sub. Any ideas as it's doing my head in?

    :lease:

Were the sub and amp both powered up when you pulled out the interconnect cable? If so you may well have fried the muting capacitors on the Yamaha's output.

Mmm, from what I remember, I think that the amp was still on... all I did was disconnect the cable going into the sub L channel. However when I plugged back in, the sub was off, however, the amp may have been on... didn't think it'd make much difference
