I saw this advert today on Loot:

"Bang and Olufsen 38in plasma, 3 months old, cost £2,000, still under warranty, offers around £600"

I phoned up about it but it had sold. It was the seller's brother who answered the phone so didn't get any further details. I've checked the B&O website but can't see any mention about it anywhere apart from a 50" plasma due in February.

£2000 seems way too low for a 38" plasma - particularly anything B&O might be selling. Couldn't find any type of 38" TV on their site either.

Anyone know what this is ? I'd have a B&O 38", plasma or not, even at £2000.

After a bit of thought I've come to the conclusion that this was probably a 28" TV not a 38" and that the owner didn't actually know what a plasma was, might have seen one once and thought that plasma was just a buzz-word for flatscreen.

Now I've looked at the B&O website I must say they make some nice looking TVs. Wouldn't mind one of those B&O telephones actually.
