probably region 1.... violence etc on region 2 is cut far too often. plus there's no cuts in the region 1 so far : http://www.dvdcompare.org.uk/comparisons/film_results_page.php?fid=2171 so unless there are some juicy extra's on the region 2 .. i'll stick to region 1 shaz
Are there any differences? I tried to do my best comparing what play have for R2 and what Cd-wow have for R1 a few weeks ago and couldn't spot any. Initially it looked like R2 wouldn't have DTS but Play have since changed their listing. Was the stuff we saw on BBC2 last year cut at all from what was shown in the US? I wanna pre-order this but comparison sites only have R1 listed.
The press release from Warner (distributors on behalf of HBO - whom they also own ?) says R2 will have DTS, and special packaging, not sure if it will be the metal tin. The only extra not explicitly mentioned for R2 is the Field Guide, this is an interactive "follow the white rabbit" style feature, for the episodes, branching out to extra background details.
