Given the price of the R2 version, is the cost of the DTS version really justifiable ?

Are there any back to back reviews of the R1 and R2 sets...I fancy depressing myself by finding out I should have spent the extra and got the R1 ;)

The R2 DD track still sounds pretty damn good though imho.

Well I have the region 1 tin set and have listened to both the dts and dolby digital tracks. I dont really think there is much between them , but some would probably not agree. :)

Like I said, some would not agree :D ;)

gary your proably right anyway, my amp although capable of dts is probably not the best in the world and doing a comparasen of the 2 sound formats on my equipment would no doubt give different results to others amps. :)
