Not bad, but for anyone thinking of buying, if you think this is the box set, please take note of the info at the bottom of the review.

'PACKAGED IN A SINGLE AMARAY CASE. NOT A DIGIPAK OR TIN BOX'.

It's still the whole series, it's just the australian release which comes in a 6 disc amaray case, similar to the ones used for the x-files, millennium and new buffy and angel boxsets, they call them m-lock over here though i have no idea why.

i've got the R2 digipak thanks to a guy on another forum, but on dvdprofiler the barcode comes up as the tin box version, they manage to be really out of date there sometimes, i don't believe no one would have the digipak version!

That’s a good point actually, I’ve run out of space to put my dvd’s and don’t know how to break it to the wife. She already thinks I buy too many. I think some covert ops are in order! :D

i just had to add 2 more shelves to my bookcase to give myself more space.. they're a bugger to get out of the bookcase now though cos there's less than a finger's width gap at the top of them.. i reckon i can get to about 800 before i run out of space again though

    800  i thought I was bad with 300.
My wife has ordered me to cut down (as that and my retro games etc have/are taking up the spare room). I had a clear out (did have 400), and sold alot of old titles that had cack transfers etc that look bad on the big screen.
I'm only really getting LE's and new releases with spanking transfers now. Problem is the box set LE's take up the equivilent of more than a few single discs due to height and width.
Still I point out her shoe collection if I get too much grief :D

If I remember correctly Band of Brothers was £15 in WH Smiths store - they had an offer on boxed sets

What is the current situation regarding customs with CDWOW at this price ? I can use vouchers etc to get it too £17.99 but the last time I bought a dvd over £18 from CDWOW they never printed the actual price on the coverslip but the advertised price . I got stung by customs & RM but that was 6 months ago at least .

Afaik, Cd-Wow no longer charge customs. Different shipping routes or something. I ordered the R1 Ultimate Matrix boxset with no problems from them!

I've never had a problem with customs either from them, but thought I was just lucky.

Does anyone here recommend the R2 version over the R2/R4 version going on the cheap at CD-WOW for £19.99 (less £2-off voucher/codes) ....I am all for saving a few quid, but it is £25 at Amazon, would the packaging be different and worth it?

    Cheers.
