I've just watched the last of the ten episodes tonight. I've had to try really hard to ration myself to one episode every week. I have to say that it has got to have been the best £33 I have ever spent. Absolutely superb :D

I don't have a sub, just the front, centre and rears but I was really impressed with the sound. When I originaly saw the series on TV, it was just in plain stereo. The DD sound on the DVD was great.

The bit at the begining of each episode from the real life soldiers is very good too.

Some of the best TV ever IMO.
Watched it when it was on BBC2, got the R1 Tin for Christmas and watched it again.
At the moment I'm reading the book.
I'd really like to watch it as a 10 hour film some time :)
