Looking for a bag to carry my 350d plus additional lenses + kit etc.

Currently need to carry:

Canon 350D + Grip, fitted with a 28-105mm Lens
1 spare battery
Canon 60mm Macro Lens
Canon 70-300mm Lens
3 x UV Filters
1 x Polarising Filter
2 x CF Cards

Also possibly need capacity to carry a 100-400L IS in the future which will replace the 70-300.

I have the Lowepro Mini Trekker AW, am very pleased with it - your kit should fit well in it.

Looks a bit big but it's not too bad to carry at all as is not too fat so your arm lies nicely over it.

It will fit a 30D with the 70-200 IS fitted just, but it will not fit in with a 1.4x extender fitted also. So think I'm going to get the next size up which I think is the Geekstar. Pity I didn't find that out before I mail ordered it!

:)

thanks for the info & photo's

looks like its the crumpler for me then

Hi - check www.cambags.com for reviews / pictures of all makes mentioned above ... Paul ;)

what do you people with crumplers (like "Loyal Chap") do with a tripod? is there a way to attach it to the bag?

I don't know how you'd attach a tripod, but I'm firmly in the Crumpler camp. I have the slightly smaller Bunny Man. They're great bags (albeit priced high as you'd expect)!

Having owned many Lowe Pro (stealth and off trail)and more recently a Crumpler Loyal Chap and now the next size up Crumpler Geekstar I think (My missus thinks it's a great name bag for me  ) I just love Crumpler. There is no specific place to put your tripod, but I think unless you have a backpack then not many will. On the Crumpler you could place it on top and then shut the pouch over it, but it would still stick out either side.

ok crumpler people may i call upon your experience. with the below kit in mind what crumpler (bunny man, loyal chap or geekstar) would i need to get to comfortably fit it :lease:.

Tried to figure it out using dimensions on the web, but according to them sjameson shouldn't be able to get the 10-22 in the lower compartment .

the kit is

Canon EF50mm f1.8 II 68.2 x 41mm
Tamron AF28-75mm f2.8 XR Di 73 x 92mm
Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO macro 76.6mm X 122mm
Canon EF-S 10-22mm f3.5-4.5 USM 83.5 x 89.8mm

and a canon 30d

many many thanks

i'm sure the long schlong or loyal chap would suffice i've got the long schlong and currently carry:

Canon 350D with 28-105 USM II
Canon 60mm Macro
Canon 100-300mm Telephoto
1 x Grip
3 filters
Battery
Lens caps etc

Still got space for at least 1 more lens if not 2.

Cheapest I got it for was £50.

cheers mate  . looks like it'll be the "loyal chap", the long schlong look like it may be a little..well...long :D taa muchly
